?Being open to hurt is crucial because it makes you seem more genuine to others. In the era of social media and fake identities, being vulnerable is now viewed as a sign of weakness. as weakness. Society and culture play a role in this kind of taboo and stigma. I've received pushback many times for being too vulnerable and open. As a result, many people perceived me as weak or lacking in self-assurance as a result. In today’s age of social media and fake selves being vulnerable is a weakness.
?? Many people I met misread me and assumed I have? low self-esteem and confidence. This issue has not bothered me ever since? I started on my transformative path. I have accepted to be authentic and vulnerable
?? The core of the discussion here is authenticity which is the key to becoming vulnerable. Recently, I participated in a panel discussion with thought leaders.? I discussed being vulnerable and open. One of the attendees complimented me on being authentic and vulnerable.
?? Employees have a? fear of projecting vulnerability. As I mentioned before, this might project weakness, low self-esteem, and low self-confidence. Furthermore, a lot of people still worry about being judged or even rejected by others.
I would always encourage employees to be more vulnerable and not let others pull them down or judge them. The reason I say that is that vulnerability improves your personal growth.

How does that happen? Vulnerability opens the door to feedback and the willingness to acknowledge our weaknesses. we create opportunities for learning and improvement by recognizing our shortcomings.

Furthermore, authenticity also means acknowledging when we are not being authentic. This requires each of us to check in on ourselves and ensure our actions and words align with who we are.
What are the benefits of being authentic:
1. Authenticity promotes a sense of congruence between our internal and external values.
2. Authenticity also helps us to build trust by having genuine connections with our network.
3. Additionally, being genuine inspires others to do the same, which has a beneficial domino effect.
? Be brave and embrace vulnerability. Be authentic to yourself and project that to others even if you feel uncomfortable. Finally, when being authentic and vulnerable we build a trusting environment.
