How to Visualize Any Transformation Story

How to Visualize Any Transformation Story

I made another video post this week (I really like making these). In t, I guide you through visualizing a transformation story to drive change in your organization.

We start by understanding the current state, identifying issues, and explaining why they matter. Then, we envision the future state and the benefits it brings, outlining the changes in behavior we expect.

The point of this technique is to prepare a compelling narrative to share with your teams, leader and organization ahead of kicking off a big change or transformation like Objectives and Key Results, agile, new policies, really any change you’d like to implement.

Take a look and let me know your thoughts, questions and feedback. And, if you’re so inclined, subscribe to my YouTube channel.

It would be interesting to have a strategy for collecting the information that you entered on the chart. Do you have anything on that? It's been my experience that if you rely solely on a client to provide this, you will end up missing a lot of important information. people are reticent to cough up information that they believe portrays them in a bad light, but often this is the most important stuff to tease out. Teresa Torres provides a lot of good advice on interviewing here: https://medium.com/@ttorres/continuous-interviewing-the-key-to-successful-product-teams-6bf63bfc1936
