How A Virtual Assistant Can Literally Save The Day!

Owning a business is stressful. There are a lot of moving pieces that have to be taken care of day in and day out. Not to mention the stress of keeping your clients happy and making sure you are making enough money to sustain your business and your life. Having a virtual assistant is like having someone else to share the burdens of running your business with.

Who is a Virtual Assistant?

A Virtual Assistant is not your actual “employee” as they are their own independent contractor you don’t have to worry about all those aspects. They pay for their own home office equipment, internet, and a whole lot of other things like a business would.

If you have a lot on your plate as I bet, you can let a VA tackle those things in your business that has always been put on the back burner, yet hang over your head. You know you should do them, you know you want to do them, you just haven’t had the time.

 A Sound Board

Have an idea or want to do something new in your business but not sure how, or even if, you should do it? Your VA can be a great sounding board for new ideas. Virtual assistants are aware of best business practices and have seen and implemented all different things within multiple businesses.

Can Take Over While You’re on Vacation

A Virtual Assistant can look over your business while you are away on vacation. If you run a small business with only a couple of employees, leaving your business “behind” when you travel can be very stressful. If you have a virtual assistant on your team it is like someone else who can keep an eye out on things while you are away.

Have A Specialist Onboard

You can hire virtual assistants who have complementary skill sets your business is lacking. Imagine you’d like to add a new process to your business. For example, you are going to start running some Google AdSense advertisements.

Now—let’s say you don’t actually know anything about Google AdSense, which is complicated at best. You have to have a pretty good working knowledge of how to use keywords, create custom audiences, and how to re-target your unique audiences.

You could spend 3 months teaching yourself Google AdSense: there are plenty of free resources, yet once again, we come down to the time factor. Hiring someone who already has this skill set and experience will save you hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars while allowing you to focus on areas that you already have skills in and enjoy more.

Help You Grow and Scale Your Biz!

A Virtual Assistant can help you grow your business. You can either pass on the day-to-day tasks to your VA so it frees you up to focus on growing your business. Or you can task your VA with reaching out to new clients and contacts to help grow your business. You can even put them in charge of a new endeavor in your business.

When you hire a good VA they become so much more than an assistant and become more of a team member or a business partner. They can really help you take a deep breath and relax into your business since you know someone else is there looking out for you!
