How to use velocity as a competitive advantage

How to use velocity as a competitive advantage

Change is happening at a faster rate than ever. (We must sound like a broken record by now, but that doesn’t change the fact that this is very real—and very important.) At Punchcard, instead of solving for this the typical way, we came up with our own solution. We like to call it Punchcard Velocity.

Moving quickly is a critical component to staying ahead of the competition. The pace at which you innovate, launch, gather feedback and implement that feedback is key.?

When it comes to digital innovation, velocity is a key success factor. And to optimize your velocity, you typically have two options:

  1. Build an internal digital development team.
  2. Hire a digital product studio.

Both have their pros and cons, most of which include cost, learning curves, breadth of expertise and time. Let’s break it down.

Option 2: Hire a tradiitonal product studio

Choosing between these options is tough. It was a decision we saw businesses facing regularly, and we decided there had to be a better way. So we innovated and came up with a solution—Punchcard Velocity.

Option 3: Punchcard Velocity

Punchcard Velocity gives you the best of both worlds. We leverage your in-house business expertise and digital experience, and top that up with a multidisciplinary product team including digital product managers, strategists, UX/UI designers and developers.?

Velocity is the outcome you get when you work with us this way. You get faster product development without the cost of hiring the wrong people or discovering too late that your team has gaps in the skills required. In other words, it’s the most efficient way to stay ahead of your competition.

Just ask our friends at Gemstone Logistics Inc. , College of Registered Nurses of Alberta, and Alata: Forward-Focused Fleet Solutions . They’ve embraced velocity—and so can you.
