How to use TAGS in Outstand to further personalize your emails.

Do you feel like you’re playing “tag” but can’t seem to win the game?

The game has evolved a lot since you were a kid. Today’s version involves less running and catching and more sending and… not catching. Voicemails, texts, emails – you name it, it can be pretty difficult to sync up with a recipient. Especially if you’re still sending mass emails that don’t have a personal touch. With cold, impersonal emails, you’re back to the childhood game of tag – all flailing arms and trying to grab onto anyone that you can!

Here’s a solution: Use a “tag” so you can stop playing tag. (We’ve got 10 of ‘em!)

You have 10 different data tags to use in the body of every Outstand email greeting you send. Adding one of these tags will automatically input specifics from your Outstand profile or your contact list.

You choose or write the message. We fill in the details.

Here are all the tags you can use:

  • [First Name] – Will be replaced with the first name of the recipient
  • [Last Name] – Will be replaced with the last name of the recipient
  • [First & Last Name] â€“ Will be replaced with the first and last name of the recipient
  • [Company Name] – Will be replaced with the company name of the recipient
  • [My First Name] – Will be replaced with the first name from the sending profile
  • [My Last Name] – Will be replaced with the last name from the sending profile
  • [My First & Last Name] – Will be replaced with the first and last name from the sending profile
  • [My Title] – Will be replaced with the title from the sending profile
  • [My Website] – Will be replaced with the website from the sending profile
  • [My Company] – Will be replaced with the company from the sending profile

When you input these tags into your email greetings, they are automatically replaced with the corresponding information from either your own profile or your contact list.

A draft of a message that reads like this…

… would read like this when sent:

The change may look subtle, yet it will make all the difference to your recipient.

Experience the difference a tag can make. Take yourself from tagger to tag-ee.
