How to use Table in Oxygen Author

Oxygen Author provides a Table feature that is used to structure information related to Product features, Specifications, Server details, Architecture details, Product Release cycle details etc.

How to use Table in Oxygen Author

1. Click DITA.
2. Click Table.
3. Click Insert Table.

4. In Insert Table wizard, in Model, select CALS.

5. In Title, specify a Table title.

6. In Table size, specify number of rows and number of columns.

7. Select Generate table header checkbox.

8. In Columns width, specify a value. For example - propotional.

9. In Frame, specify a value. For example - all.

10. In Row separator, specify a value. For example - 1.

11. In column separator, specify a value. For example - 1.

12. In Alignment, select a position to place Table. For example - center.

13. To insert Table inside a topic, click Insert.

This procedure inserts a Table inside a topic.

I believe Table is a great feature in Oxygen Author that helps an author to describe complex information in a structured manner using rows/columns.
