How to use a small (basic) machine for oil replacement in wind turbines?
Dear friends and colleagues!
As You already know, GlobeCore produce 2 models of oil exchange units for wind turbines. Today I'd like to share few important moments on how actually use this basic model.
The differences between these models are:
- No oil tanks
- There is no heater
- It is small, length with a trailer is less than 4 meters, weigth is about 1500 kg.
- No generator.
But all this differences you can use as pros. For example, if you have some restrictions on the weight and size of the vehicle. The other machine with tanks is much bigger and it might be harder to drive it through the mountains or wherever is your windpark location.
Where do I keep the oil (new/waste)?
You can use this kind of plastic containers, which cost around $90. You can get as many as you need locally.
How do I pump oil with high viscosity without a heater?
If You are planning to replace oil with temperature colder then 5 °С, then yes, it'd be better to heat it before pumping to higher the pumping speed. We can offer a heater separately. See a picture below:
This machine is also very useful when you do not have to replace waste oil completely, but to top up the oil in the gearbox.
And, of course, this small unit has it's own price benefits.
- We have 1 year warranty.
- GlobeCore do not provide services, we manufacture and sell it.
- We provide an engineer for commissioning (if needed).
