How to Use Skool to Sell High-Ticket Offers the Right Way

How to Use Skool to Sell High-Ticket Offers the Right Way

Over the last year, you’ve definitely heard the word Skool. Alex Hormozi has talked about it. Sam Ovens has mentioned it. Even Iman Gadzhi is a secret investor. The reality is, if you're an online coach, creator, or business owner, Skool can be a powerful asset for your business.

But the real question is, how do you use Skool the right way?

The Free vs. Paid Skool Debate

If you don’t have 200K, 500K, or even a million followers, your best bet is to sell high-ticket. The money is in high-ticket offers, not low-ticket communities.

And this is where people go wrong. They try to create a low-ticket community, charging $10, $20, maybe even $50 per month, thinking it’ll lead to better-qualified leads. But what actually happens?

  • If you charge $20/month, maybe 100 people join.
  • If you keep it free, you get 2,000+ people in.

Now, let’s say you convert 10% of them to high-ticket. That’s 200 high-ticket buyers vs. 50 (if you went the low-ticket route). The math speaks for itself. Free Skool is the way to go.

What Makes a Free Skool Funnel Work?

Your Skool community needs to be structured in a way that moves people toward your high-ticket offer. There are two key elements to making this work:

  1. High-Quality, Quick-to-Consume Content
  2. Unique Insights, Not Just Value

The Psychology of a Free Skool Community

Some people will consume everything in your Skool. Others will see how valuable it is but won’t have time to go through it all. And guess what? They still buy.

Think about luxury cars. People drop $200K+ on a Lamborghini Urus, even though it’s made with Ford, Volkswagen, and Audi parts. Why? Because it holds inherent value.

The same thing happens with your Skool. When people see your free community is packed with high-value insights, they assume your paid offer is on another level—even if they haven’t gone through every piece of content.

How to Convert Skool Members into High-Ticket Clients

Now that we know why free is the best play, how do you actually convert members into high-ticket clients?

  1. Ask the Right Questions When They Join
  2. Own the Data & Follow Up Immediately
  3. Use Multiple Touchpoints

The Four Key Parts of a Winning Skool

  1. Classroom (Content)
  2. Community
  3. Calls/Webinars
  4. Email Nurture

Final Play: Retargeting Your Skool Members

Once you have thousands of people in your Skool, you now have a warm audience that you can retarget.

  • Facebook & IG ads—use a Meta Pixel to retarget them with ads.
  • SMS & Email blasts—send weekly promotions, YouTube videos, and webinar invites.
  • Ongoing calls & webinars—keep nurturing them until they convert.
