How to use the Seam Tool

The world of transportation is one that is decided by the smallest details. Which is why we’ve focused our attention on our seam tool.

The seam tool easily adds seam allowance either around the piece or on any segment along the contour to add or subtract material. This allowance can be added in several ways, either variably or in parallel to the segment selected.

When adding the allowance, you can choose from multiple corner types for ease of use. In addition, when making changes to the contour, the seam allowance automatically follows the set distance to the corresponding point on the contour.

And if you’d like a manual touch, you can easily turn off this behaviour to stop the tool from following your movements, allowing you to customize these segments as custom segments for flexibility.

And to top all this off, you can switch between working on the seam line and the cut line with the press of a button.
