How to reduce conflict with Dr Clare Sieber
Dr Clare Sieber who is a GP and Mediator. Clare only mediates disputes in healthcare settings, with a focus on those in primary care such as GP partnership, PCN, GP practice workplace disputes, and disputes between a patient's family and the clinical team.
Using Insights in Practice
With so many newsletters and emails, it’s easy to dismiss the non-essential ones as unwanted distractions but?I urge you to reconsider.
The newsletters, blogs, podcasts and other free resources delivered to your inbox have been curated specially for you. The author is keen to share the lessons learnt, education and training they have invested in. More importantly, their aim is to help you. Sometimes it may seem tricky to put these into practice.
With this in mind, I am sharing how our clients are?using our insights and frameworks in practice and finding success.
Partnership Reviews
In?Warrington PCN, we are using?Questions to Inform your next Primary Care Partnership?to help revise a Service Level Agreement.
These questions will help ensure you have everything covered to ensure a successful partnership.
Top tip…
Service Level Agreements are great but strongly consider if you need an actual contract to protect both parties.
I have seen SLA and agreements made in “good faith” turn sour as the documents lack formal accountability and rigour.
90-day planning
We recently had the pleasure of working with?Canterbury Integrated Health, which is a partnership of 2 Primary Care Networks. We shared our?90-day planning tool?with them. It’s so simple and effective. However, you do not need a facilitator if you want to go it alone.?
Find our 90-day planning resource?here. We provide a step-by-step guide to give you the focus and clarity needed to deliver on your priorities.
Top tip...
Once you have completed your plan, keep it somewhere visible and share regularly with your team. Share in Whatsapp, Microsoft Teams, internal newsletters and update meetings.

How to create your Primary Care Network Multi-Disciplinary Team Educational Session
Disclaimer: I take no credit for this and at the time of writing, I am the PCN Manager at Cranbrook PCN and provide line management to the PCN Team.
The idea for the educational sessions came from the amazing Rehenaaz, a Pharmacist in Cranbrook PCN.
Rehenaaz asked if we could create a space for more education in the network. Read this blog to find out more about our approach... read more.
