Update Profile Information
1. Ensure your LinkedIn account is up to date with your latest accomplishments and objectives. This profile plays a key role in exposing your skills to a vast spectrum that comprises of big entrepreneurs as well as expert marketers.
2. Click the “Profile” dropdown menu from the upper left corner of your account and then select “Edit Profile.”
3. Fill out each category that applies to your previous or current experience and then click “Save Changes” to update the information.

1. Use LinkedIn’s Advanced Search feature to specify which type of clients you are interested in, which in turn provides greater opportunities to generate a successful business. This ensures that potential customers or employees fully qualify for the business proposition in question.
2. Click the “Advanced” link from the upper right portion of the screen. Specify any available information, including a person’s full name, the size of the company they work for, their primary language, seniority level and more.
3. Click “Search” toward the bottom of the screen to execute your query based on the information at hand.
Join Related Groups
1. Join active groups to mingle and meet highly experienced experts in your niche or category of interest. This feature essentially brings together many professionals within a particular field. Everyone can post information, questions or advice regarding business opportunities. Embrace this feature to analyze a person’s overall experience and to meet potential business partners.
2. Highlight the “Groups” drop-down menu and select “Group Directory.” Alternatively, click "Groups You May Like" to browse through customized group choices based on your account information.
3. Browse through the group that best matches your profession or business objective and then click to open its official page.
4. Click the “Join Group” link toward the top of the screen to follow, participate and communicate with others.
