Collaborative articles on LinkedIn have now launched. This has created a chance for industry professionals to work together, to build a value-packed article full of perspectives from across the LinkedIn community, prompted by AI-generated articles.
In this article, I share what you need to know about Collaborative Articles, and how you can leverage them to build your credibility and expertise.
Contributing to collaborative articles can broaden your reach, help you grow a following, and build a reputation on LinkedIn.
You can also earn a Community Top Voices badge when members find you to be one of the most upvoted contributors to collaborative articles for a particular skill, more on that later.
Below I have also provided a full A-Z list of all collaborative article topics that you can contribute to.
What are Collaborative Articles?
Collaborative articles are knowledge topics published by LinkedIn with insights and perspectives added by the LinkedIn community. These articles begin as AI-powered conversation starters, developed with LinkedIn's editorial team, but they aren’t complete without insights from LinkedIn members.
How to Find Collaborative Articles to Contribute to
Follow the topics you want to collaborate on. To make it easy for you, I have included the full list of topics in this Article in A-Z order at the bottom of this article.

How to contribute:
Note: this is currently being rolled out (as of July 2023) so you may not yet have the ability to contribute. Ensure your skills on your profile match the topics that you want to contribute to.
Community Top Voices - NEW
Community Top Voices are noteworthy contributors who show expertise in a specific skill or skills as determined by their contributions to collaborative articles (For example, 'Top Sales Voice'). These members can be identified by the light gold Community Top Voice badge. The Community Top Voices program is separate from the invitation-only Top Voices program, which has different criteria.
You can earn a Community Top Voice badge when members find you to be one of the most noteworthy contributors to collaborative articles for a particular skill. You can earn badges for multiple skills; these will be combined into one badge on your profile. There is no limit to the number of skills for which you can earn a badge.
The Community Voice Top Badge is active for a minimum of 60 days after you earn it, but may be removed for a violation of our Professional Community Policies. In order to keep the badge beyond 60 days, members must continue to find your contributions to collaborative articles within that particular skill set noteworthy and abide by our community policies. If you have a badge for more than one skill, you will retain the badge for all skills for which you remain among the most noteworthy contributors in the 60-day period for that skill.
Your badge will appear on your profile, as well as next to your contributions in collaborative articles.
