In a seller’s market like the one we’re in, it’s hard to know how to make an offer, especially in the lower price ranges. I’ve recently worked with several buyers and realized that most of them aren’t aware of their options when it comes to making an offer on competitive properties. A basic option is to simply make an offer and wait to see if you get a rejection, acceptance, or counteroffer. Another, more competitive option is to use an escalation clause.
