How to use DWIN T5L LCD module?

Don't know how to make the FACTORY DEMO can be edited? There is a solution to help you.

1. Create your own edited project, recommend making a "variable ICON", whatever pictures you have, named it as "40.icl"(just an example),save this project, you will get a full demo with "DWprj.hmi".
2. Re-named the "32.icl" of FACTORY DEMO to "40.icl", to replace the orginal "40.icl" and add it in your own project. To edit the variable ICON and choose the "40.icl", generate - save, then, you will get the pictures of 40.icl.
3. Re-create a new project -- add the pictures you got -- import 13 and 14.bin from the FACTORY DEMO --generate --save --DONE

What is DWIN T5L LCD module?

The T5L series ASIC is a single-chip and dual-core ASIC IC designed by DWIN technology co., ltd for AIOT applications with low power consumption, high cost performance, GUI and highly integrated application, including T5L1(low resolution) and T5L2(high resolution).

Compared with self-drawn GUI, it has the advantages of simple development, stable system and high development efficiency.

For example, DMG48270C043_03WTR is a 4.3 inch, 480*272 resolution, commercial grade T5L smart LCM with resistive touch panel.

Nowadays, DWIN LCD module have many other functions besides displaying GUI interface, for example, some LCM are open to OS CPU cores (standard 8051 cores) for secondary development; some LCM have powerful arithmetic power combined with WiFi modules, which in turn can realize AIoT (Artificial Intelligence Internet of Things) applications.

The 16MB external FLASH memory can be divided into 64 subspaces with a fixed capacity of 256KB, and the file ID number can be stored in the range of 0-63.

Note: For this serial screen (T5L1 CPU platform), the size of a single JPG file should not exceed 252KB.

0-22 font is the system font, don’t use it.

23-63 for customers, recommended that users start to put the font or icon library and other files from the starting position of 23.

32 starting position to put the background 32.ICL file.

Download DWIN documents:

3 bin files plus library files are stored in DWIN_SET under the project folder.

Background icon library file: 32.ICL file , BMP format, 24-bit color, image naming starts from 00.

Icon library file: 40-icon.ICL file

0 Font library file: 0_DWIN_ASC.HZK

Project save, generate three bin files: 13-touch-config.bin, 14-variable-config.bin, 22_Config.bin .

When creating a new project, the software will automatically generate a series of files, among which "DWprj.hmi" is the only editing program that the DGUS software can recognize. This file cannot be renamed or deleted.

Copy the file shown above to the DWIN_SET folder under the root directory of SD card (actually TF card), insert the card, power off and power on again to download, and the SD Card Process ...END!
