How To Unsubscribe From Someones Updates
Who knew that such a simple (but gorgeous) thing as a bikini could raise so much discussion?
As some of you may know, I grew up on the beaches of South Florida, where swimwear was de rigueur. I learned to admire what a well-fitting bikini or carefully chosen one-piece swimsuit did for a woman’s confidence. When I founded and became CEO of Bikini Luxe, I brought those beliefs and values with me.
Some Statistics
Recently, I posted a photo of a beautiful neon green and white bikini on this page, and asked if it was appropriate. You, my peers didn’t disappoint – you let me know what you thought of the photo. My post received more than 1000 comments and my inbox was full with almost 4000 new Linkedin connection requests. The views on that particular bikini skyrocketed 866 percent from the previous week. And the sales you ask?
Deleted Posts And Blocked Comments
What I didn’t anticipate were some complaints that the photo wasn’t appropriate, and having my Linkedin account shut down for a short time.
My updates were deleted and only visible to me but not to anyone else.
This inspired a few of my supporters to create their own updates and posts, it was a fantastic and truly appreciated gesture.

For the people who supported me and my business, I thank you. For those of you who wish to unsubscribe to my Linkedin feed in order to not see future photos and posts, I completely understand.
And I would even like to say"Thank You" to the people who reported the post and got my account temporarily suspended. You gave me the inspiration to create my latest post.
Now What You Came Here For: How To Unsubscribe
Apparently, there’s an easy way to tune out any posts in your the notifications stream.
All you have to do is click on the small 'x' on the top corner of the Notification box, and you’ll get the option to unsubscribe.
Please note that although Linkedin will allow you to unsubscribe from all of a person’s posts, you can’t re-subscribe if you change your mind and suddenly decide you want to read the posts again.
Thanks again to everyone who commented their opinions!

8 年Peter Luria, this is exactly what I do not understand. This lady is actually doing something to avoid being one of those people who struggle to survive on a minimum / below minimum wage - and she is the one getting beat over her head for her efforts. So, on one hand we complain about the "poor", and on the other - try to shut down a young entrepreneur who did not feel like becoming a "charity case". And for what reason? Because someone did not like seeing her updates on this site? Ridiculous!
