How to Turn Your Trash into Cash

How to Turn Your Trash into Cash

Yesterday I told some members of the DMD Group that my post today is about how to turn trash to cash.

"If it's about turning mental trash into an online course about decluttering, it will be amazing" said Monica Bahel Arya , "especially as we have thought leaders like Sam Baisla and Sohaib Hasan in our group"

I laughed.

This one is about real trash.

The one that is sitting below your desk that you open after peeling an orange to shove the waste.

Trash is a billion dollar opportunity and its going blow up.

Our group member Dr. Shambavi Rajagopal ?? says that you need to know that you are a part of an entire ecosystem generating waste.

And its true.

No matter how carefully you tread, waste will always be created.

That's why Rogers, co-founder Harry Tannenbaum and the Mill Industries are launching the Mill Bin.

At first glance, it doesn’t look like much, maybe a sleek trash can.

But inside is tech that can change trash for ever.

Mill’s kitchen bin gobbles up food scraps, dries them out and grinds them to bits overnight.

It also neutralizes odors with a charcoal filter.

When the bin is full, Mill automatically mails a box to return the waste back to the company, where it’s cleaned, sifted, pasteurized and bagged to be sold as chicken feed to farmers.

The goal is to eliminate the climate impact of food waste.

PRAVEEN KRISHNAN says that the biggest impact of blockchain is on saving energy and the Mills Bin is a brilliant invention that takes care of domestic waste in the most impactful way.

Matt Rogers, former Apple engineer and co-founder of Nest who dreamt up the idea says that “This feels like the most tractable of all climate problems. We don’t need to invent nuclear fusion. We don’t need to figure out how to build a low weight aviation fuel. It’s just like, don’t put food in the trash.”

When Mills Bin will be available in the region, I am sure it will be picked up by Nisha Sanjeev who coaches about how to writing a book, Anupama Parkar who shows brands how to build exciting brands, Biji Tharakan Thomas of Betserlife fame, Prerna GN , Krishna Prakash , Ritesh Mohan , Angel Joe , Gomathi Seetharaman , Mohammad Arshad , Dr Sweta Adatia , Jayesh Khabar , Marcel Ionescu , Patrick Cheesman , Avani Patel , Usha Sarda , Damodhar Mata , Dean Seddon , Sushmita Kumar , SANTHOSH KUMAR CHEEYANCHERI , Thasveer M Salim , Shafi Insprago? , Shafeel Qamaroun ???? , Dr.Kiran Nair , Arun Nair , Brijesh Chedayan Prachi Bishnoi , Priya M. It is essential to give a second life to the waste?in your possessions... My siblings and I used to bank on the trash at our home in our childhood... collecting all unused, broken bottles, plastics, iron parts, metals, aluminum parts, books, and papers,... selling them to fund the annual temple festivals in our locality.
