How To Turn Your Life Around

No matter where you are in life, whether you're in a great position, whether you're in a terrible position, or any place in between, we're going to talk about how to turn your life around, to create the life that you truly want.

I want to take you back to October of 2010. I had lost everything that I had. My business was failing, I went from having $50,000 in my bank account to a negative figure. I was five months overdue on my car payment and almost lost my car. I was living in a one-bedroom apartment down in Fort Lauderdale with no furniture inside of the house beside a bed in my room, and books that lined the living room floor. 

For two months, the only thing that I ate was pasta from Walmart. It was 88 cents for a can of pasta.

I was probably in one of the worst, if not the worst place in my life. I had this business that had been successful and within less than a year, I’d lost it all. I had to go back home with my tail between my legs and try to start all over again. 

About six months later, I went through a terrible breakup, I was working a job that I hated and I remember sitting on my bathroom floor, sobbing like a child because I had no idea what I was doing, why I was doing the things I was doing or where my life was supposed to go. This was my rock bottom. 

At that moment, feeling like the world was crashing around me, I vividly remember thinking to myself, “No one is going to come and save you. If you're going to make something out of your life, it is only on your shoulders. I can't blame anybody else for my failure and if I can't blame anybody else for my failure, I won't be able to blame anybody else but myself for my success later on down the road.”

It was that moment that I decided to take control of my life and fix the things that didn’t suit me.

Nobody is going to want your success more than you do. 

Nobody is going to want your happiness more than you do. 

Nobody is going to want your fulfillment more than you.

So you have to get up and you have to put the work in because nobody is going to put the work in for you. 

You have to be the CEO of your own life and I hope you choose greatness.
