How trustworthy are you?

One of the hidden powers of being in the media; is that it makes you far more trustworthy compared to your competition.

Just yesterday, one of my clients Katrina Y. was featured in Forbes for the second time this year. She was the leading commentator in a piece about Business Education.

Both of these ladies, these pieces of media coverage just made them even more trustworthy by being in the media.

Why? Well, let's be honest, you can edit, change, and delete your testimonials so that they paint you in the best possible light to appear trustworthy, but not so much when it comes to being in the media.

You rarely get the final say, as it's up to the editors and producers, not you, Very ocassionally will you be able to edit something to your liking; but even then you do not have the final say.

I have lost count of the number of people who have asked me to tweak something in a written piece and I have politely said no, 9/10, and it was just a step too far.
