Why Trustpilot allow paid fake review?
Trustpilot's policy on paid reviews is clear that businesses cannot pay for positive reviews, and reviews must be based on genuine experiences but my personal experience with Trustpilot that I have more than 5 instances where I have requested my client to share a review and Trustpilot unpublished first and then ask for service proof and when my client share a proof of email then Trustpilot guys ask for an invoice to publish a positive review.
Whereas Trustpilot immediately published the negative review and when contacted, they claim that its verified review and promote for their paid services to tackle this.
Message by Trustpilot to Company on instance where customer shared genuine Feedback about business, Trustpilot asked for proof, customer submitted a proof but as the invoice was old,Trustpilot did not approve the feedback
Message by Trustpilot to Company on instance where Fake reviews was publishsed by unknows without availing a services of business and when Business Flagged a review. BUT Trustpilot verified and published the review with this comments.
For publishing bad review, No documents was asked.

Trustpilot claim that a range of measures to ensure the authenticity and reliability of its reviews, including the use of automated software and manual moderation by a team of content specialists. Trustpilot's review guidelines also prohibit the use of fake or fraudulent reviews and require reviews to be based on real experiences with the company being reviewed.
But in real, Trustpilot The fake review business is a practice where individuals or companies create fake reviews to manipulate the online reputation of a business or product. Fake reviews are usually posted on Trustpilot by Paid users and Trustpilot paid customer's fake review is being retained.
Here is how the fake review business works of Trustpilot:
Solicitation of Fake Reviews: Some companies or individuals may offer to write fake reviews for a fee. They may advertise their services on online Trustpilot. They may also reach out to businesses directly and offer to write fake reviews for them.
Creation of Fake Accounts: To create fake reviews on Trustpilot, the reviewers usually create fake accounts on review websites or e-commerce platforms. They use these fake accounts to post fake reviews of the product or service they are trying to promote or demote.
Writing the Fake Reviews: The fake review writers then create reviews that are either positive or negative, depending on the purpose of the review. They usually write reviews that are convincing enough to deceive unsuspecting customers. They may also use a template for the review and customize it to fit the product or service they are reviewing.
Posting the Fake Reviews: After writing the fake reviews, the writers then post them on Trustpilot. They may post the reviews on multiple platforms to increase their impact. They may also use different usernames and IP addresses to avoid detection.
Promoting the Fake Reviews: Some fake review writers may use Trustpilot to promote the fake reviews. They may use paid advertising to promote the fake reviews to a wider audience.
Detection and Removal: Online platforms, such as Trustpilot, have measures in place to detect and remove fake reviews. They use automated systems and human moderators to identify and remove fake reviews but Trustpilot ignore the fake review done by Paid users. In some cases, businesses may also report fake reviews to the platform for removal but Trustpilot do not entertain the request and favour the fake reviewer only.
Legal Consequences: Writing and posting fake reviews can have legal consequences. In some countries, writing fake reviews is considered fraud and can result in criminal charges. It can also lead to civil lawsuits and damage the reputation of the business or product being reviewed. Trustpilot is violating all the country norms and many have started taking legal action as well.

1 个月I just had the same kind of experience with TrustPilot, but reverse: they also protect scamming companies if they pay TrustPilot. I left a negative review on a finance company that is trying to scam people (Hays Mews Capital), but instead of saying clearly it is a scam, I just stated the facts: Hays Mews Capital is recently funded, registered in the UK with 300GBP capital, and they are not FCA approved. They rely on very well done professional looking websites, LinkedIn profiles, and TrustPilot reviews to make people trust them. When making research, it is clear that the companies involved (Hays Mews Capital, Manhattan5oceans, greenpark global) have no history in doing business. I wrote a review on TrustPilot to state those facts and warn investors not to become victims of fraud (without saying scam or fraud directly), and TrustPilot removed my review after Hays mews Capital flagged it as defamatory. My review was clearly not defamatory as it was easy to check facts. It shows that TrustPilot will help scamming companies have only green reviews if they pay them.

2 个月I just received an email saying all my negative reviews of Intoxalock have been taken down because they couldn't verify it's authenticity and I told them I'll give them my address and they can send someone here to see if I'm authentic or not. It's real easy to find the fake accounts that review things on their site.?

5 个月they sent me a request to review a company called Canadianvisa.org that scammed me and only 5 years later they sent me the Review, and of course they blocked my review for lack of proof. Trustpilot is not a trustable company.
