How Trump’s Inauguration Looked Dashing to Me
Happy and smiling President Trump’s inauguration reminded me of the time in Philly when I was with college buddies havin’ a good ole time at a fraternity party at Temple U. in that state where he clobbered Kamala, Pennsylvania. ?
The beaming President’s fantastically beautiful First Lady Melania in that cool dark, wide-brimmed hat amid her somber elegance ironically looked at first glance like she was attending a funeral.? But that joyful event was as far from funerial as you can possibly get.? It was an intensely happy and joyful evening for all and beneath that handsome hat, for her too!
Their sweet son Barron looked a bit bewildered at times but impressed and intrigued and as tall as he is, he definitely stood out from the cheering crowd, as an ebullient Trump promised that wildly enthusiastic assembly, he’ll now rescue a dangerously declining America and make it great again.
Meanwhile, a somber looking President Biden seated beside his sorrowful looking sidekick, Kamala, seemed tortured as they listened painfully to Trump while just to the left of him.
On center stage next to Trump, Vice President JD Vance seemed happy and relaxed while his wife Usha seemed to smile on cue while one of their handsome young sons looked as if he could care less what was going on.?
Trump found the young Vivek charming and was proud of the bored boy’s dad, the author of Hillbilly Elegy, who had become on that awesome occasion the first millennial VP.?
I’ll end this piece with a picture of me with another VP, Dan Quayle, which seems like an eternity ago when I was with him making my PR rounds in Manhattan. At Trump’s inauguration Quayle looked much more mature . . . alas like me.
Then Trump’s signing that plethora of pardons that gay celebratory night (oops, erase gay) would thrill the immense cheering crowd and make giant media waves.?
He started signing them under the big tent.? Later, together with Biden’s 11th hour pardons of his family, plus Trump’s pardons and commutations for the hundreds of Jan. 6 rioters at the capital, including those who violently attacked police officers, the countless signings would strike most as wonderful, some as a bit theatrical while others labeled them “pardon pollution.”
Trump’s sons Erik and Donald Jr., and daughter Tiffany looked happy and proud as can be of papa while Melania kept her elegant cool under that standout hat causing the President to have to just blow air kisses at her beaming beautiful face.

A touching moment was Trump shaking hands emotionally with those whose family members are still Hamas hostages in beleaguered Gaza which were poignant moments in an otherwise lively, celebratory party, an inspiring event!
It was one long, empowering and prophetic program that I, like millions of others, just couldn’t take our eyes off.? And with all the billionaires attending, I’m not surprised the stock market’s up!?
And we wish President Trump all the best in Making America Great Again.

1 个月Tom, you are a master of sarcasm! A brilliant farcical column designed to mock everything about Trump and his cult. Well done!

1 个月How ‘dashing’ was his pardon of the J6 traitors? Or his executive order to end birthright citizenship, a hallmark of America’s promise of inclusion? Tom, besides touting Trump’s Make America Mean agenda, and your own credentials, you have nothing new or remotely interesting to say. Stop your banal scribblings and kindly slither away.
