How to Troubleshoot Network Switch if its some of ports are not working: -

We can troubleshoot by checking the status of the interfaces?

Switch# show ip interfaces brief?

If the status of these ports are administratively down we will need to bring them up?

Switch# Congifure terminal?        

Switch(Config)# int-range f0/15-24????        

1. In above 15-24 are port range which are not working. You can add yours ports which are not working?

Switch(config-if-range)#no shutdown?        

These ports will come up otherwise the problem is with hardware side.?
