How To Travel on a Budget?
I believe most of us know how expensive it is when it comes to travelling to another country, especially when we decide to splurge on our vacations. Because let’s admit it, we don’t get to travel every day and when we do, it has to be a perfect trip. Here are some ways you can keep the travel expenses in check.
Starting with the most obvious and yet important are flight bookings. Plan your vacation in advance, because it does not just give you the advantage of being able to compare airline prices but also saves you from paying extra money for the exact same seats, in case of end moment bookings.
Now that the initial part is done, you want to make sure your accommodation expenses are not too high. I'm not saying you need to compromise on comfort and hygiene, but when you’re on a budget, it is advisable to look up for hostels or homestays or something like Airbnb. Choose the one that fits perfectly for you, read the reviews and make sure it is located in or near the city centre to save up time and cost of travelling.
Coming to travelling, it is always preferable to use the local means, firstly because it’s less expensive as compared to cabs and secondly, it’s the best way to explore a new city. Local experiences are what make every place different from the other, so spend wisely but make sure you don’t miss out on the surreal experiences.
