- Understand the projects before start allocating duties to the team
- Plan and prioritise the task to avoid burdening employees, map out the projects and divide teams according to how they will b e able to contribute in completing it
Do not disregard the employees
- Every employee has their own unique strengths and weaknesses
- Focus on which assignments correspond with individual team members' skill sets and growth aspirations
- Be clear in communicating the team's over all goals, how the tasks and projects they are assigned contribute to those goals and why they were given their respective assignments, so that they will be able to adjust the work quality and speed accordingly
- Achievable deadlines will improve the quality of the work and the team's ability to get creative with the tasks
- Be proactive by setting regular one-on-one check-ins with team members for timely updates
- Hold weekly or monthly gatherings or 'Happy hours' either through lunches or over zoom calls so team members can take a breather from the work
