Although Waterfront Toronto will oversee the project, I can assure you that this is one of the toughest projects in the future for future cities. This is a new world-class meta-innovation. The most important reason is the combination of the latest converged visions and technologies to design and implement it.
I believe that we should not hinder the growth of innovative and productive fiction. China, India, South Korea, Singapore, Russia, the US and Japan have begun intense competition for smart cities. Canada can also take part in this competition as a leading country. The global discourse of smart cities is growing and expanding everywhere on the planet.
- But the problem I have with this project is that its vision is organizational while designing it had to be shared with all Toronto citizens as a shared identity. Even a taxi driver in Toronto knows what a contribution this prospect has! And why is it so vital to do such a project? Can this large project provide a true picture of smart cities or futuristic cities? Is this smart city imposing on the Toronto context or is it an essential proud city? Project documents say that 21,000 people have been interviewed, conferences and meetings held. OK. But is there a real answer to this challenge ?: Alphabet is a global Internet and software giant, not a professional growth company in future-smart, smart urbanization!
- My second problem with the project is that the vision and the master plan of this smart city are designed, but a super-professional mechanism is needed to make it operational! The resume of Toronto, Alphabet and Sidewalk Labs is strong, but a more complex and powerful procedure is needed to accomplish this great project. A multidimensional multinational structure is needed to give a simple answer to this complex question! It seems that there are still more steps to be taken to design and implement this smart city.
- Third point: Citizens' privacy! Sidewalk Labs promises like a good kid that privacy will be invaded and violated! Facebook, of course, had promised that too! The fate of privacy in a smart city is now bothering Incheon smart city residents. Incheon's lessons should be helpful in this project. The ontological reasons for the city should not be outlined in smart cities. The city is for life and the creation of life, not for the observation and monitoring of its inhabitants for the specific purposes of specific organizations!
- Fourth point: Will the project solve the Toronto problem of creating a futuristic smart city or solve the problem of Alphabet and Sidewalk Labs for a global ambition to enter new territories? The project's multi-page multi-page documentary provides an inspiring future for Sidewalk residents. But what about the facts? Conferences and Websites Can't Build a Smart City in Ontario! The most powerful professionals and powerful companies must combine thousands of variables with a holistic view to build this city!
Toronto is a fast-paced city and has a rush. And they deserve such innovations. But the ultimate success of this difficult mission will not be easy. Although a global giant, the project is contracted and done in beautiful and powerful Ontario.
Finally, the key benefits of implementing a project based on an optimistic approach to the future are:
- Toronto's infrastructure is ready enough for this.
- The leading spirit of the citizens of Toronto enables project implementation
- The federal government has set strict requirements for its proper implementation
- -Canada's & Ontario's national conditions and the Alphabet's unique structural ability are among the driving forces behind this smart city.
Key Project Challenges Based on Pessimistic Approach to the Future:
- Invasion of citizen privacy, its attraction has already had a negative impact on the project.
- Despite the structural strength of the Alphabet, the efficiency and effectiveness of the project implementation team have not yet matured.
- The lack of civic and civic spirit in the city's children and adolescents
- Incomplete management of a city by an internet software holding, just doing the wrong thing!
- Leadership Challenge! There is still no deep insight into leading the project
The ultimate message is;
When you go to urbanization, that is, to a complex and non-linear world of chaos while your structure is simple and linear! So Toronto will benefit from this project, provided that, ultimately, when this smart city merges, it's not a failure for futuristic cities!
