This Week's Question is From Soumyadeep Sinha in India:

"What is the interview process like on Crossover?"

"Hi Soumyadeep,

Here’s how Crossover approaches interviews:

We’re big believers in skill assessments and encourage all hiring teams (from our client companies) to keep interviews efficient and effective. Typically, we aim for no more than two interviews per role, but some clients may opt for a more involved process.

For interview prep, here’s what you need:

  • Be ready to talk about your experience and skills, how you’d handle the role, and how you’re using AI in your work.
  • Having a portfolio of related projects can be a strong plus.
  • Plan to explain how you’d tackle the main responsibilities in the first 30 days.

On logistics:

  • Business casual attire and professional grooming are a good idea.
  • Make sure you’re in a quiet space with a stable internet connection, and have a good mic and camera set up (interviews are camera-on by default).
  • Most interviews last around 30 minutes, so keep your answers clear and to the point.

If time allows, some interviewers will open the floor for questions - specific, thoughtful questions (not easily answered by reading our FAQs) can really set you apart."
