How-To Tuesday: Set Preferences in NetSuite??

If the standard appearance of your dashboard is too basic and boring for your taste, you can easily change it to better suit your NetSuite according to your needs.?

?Simply Hover on the little house on the TOP RIGHT of your Dashboard. This is your HOME button.?

Select Set Preferences?

This will bring you to a page where you can set up your signature for your messages, and make sure everything is in the correct language.??

To change the look of your dashboard, go to the Appearance subtab.?

Here you can do fun stuff like change the color scheme to pink or orange, and change the font to something crazy like Verdana! You can also set up how you want the charts you use to look.?

If you go to the Transactions subtab, you can tell NetSuite to do helpful things, like Auto fill for you when you are typing in Transactions, alphabetize your items for you to easier find them, and to issue you a warning when your Inventory is low, or your Credit Limits with your Vendors is approaching a certain level.??

If you want NetSuite to send you Alerts in an email, you can set this up under the Alerts subtab. This can be a helpful reminder of where things stand as your reading your emails throughout the day.?
