How Time Flies

16 years ago a certain Aljosa Jenko invited me to join him in the then budding network of Httpool.?Aljosa, their CEO, had founded the company as a digital enabler for the advertising industry in emerging markets. Already back then Aljosa′s vision of the company had a true global scope and when you were listening to him, it was clear that nothing would stop him.?I had just recently parted with the ORF (Austrian Broadcasting Corporation), where I had been working for almost a decade as a sales director at?ORF.at. I was more than happy to come on board and we went on to found Httpool Austria with the goal to expand the operations into Central Europe to become a leading provider of digital advertising in the region.

Httpool should soon evolve into an international player in the digital advertising industry, representing the most powerful global media platforms, like Spotify, Twitter and many others.

The stellar growth of Httpool was also noted by Gaston Taratuta , the charismatic founder and CEO of IMS, a leading provider of digital advertising in LATAM.?Our companies would join forces and under the brand of Aleph Group, Inc would finally became a true global player, active in 138 countries on all five continents, representing all the leading media houses and networks, from Amazon, Google, Meta, Pinterest to Snapchat, Spotify, TikTok, MSFT Advertising and numerous others.

As a co-founder and partner I continue to be a proud part of this amazing company, but on an operational basis I have decided to set off for new shores.?

I am immensely thankful for getting the opportunity to be part of this singular success story and to work side by side with countless outstanding people across the globe.?

Finally I want to mention Michael Heugl who has built with me Httpool Austria from scratch and has become my close friend. Michael is one of the most extraordinary people I ever met, equally smart, generous and humble, a rare combination of traits to find.?

I am glad to be handing over the lead in Austria and Switzerland to Christopher Ruzicka , who joined my team already 12 years ago. Chris is a passionate and experienced manager with excellent?skills. He will make sure that the company is maintaining our high standards and continue to grow.
