How to Thrive in Uncertain Times

There's something we can all agree on. There is a lot of uncertainty in this world right now and it's causing many people anxiety and stress. If you're one of them, you're not alone. It's almost as if it's become the new normal.?

I want you to shift your perspective about anxiety and stress so that you thrive.?


They're both a result of worrying about the future. We spend a lot more time focusing on the things that we can't control instead of what we can.?

We need to match the uncertainty in the world with the certainty within ourselves.?


Here are a few examples:

You can’t control what is going on in the external environment but you can control what is going on in your internal space.

You can create your own peace filter by discontinuing to watch the news, unfollowing people on social media who make you feel bad about yourself.??

You can’t control the uncertainty of covid but you can control how you take care of yourself and your body so that if you do get it, your body can go into battle fully equipped.?

Get an optimal amount of sleep, take supplements, get some sun on your skin, drink more water, practice breathing techniques, meditate and do anything else to help build you up.


If you are uncertain about your life path, that’s okay too but you can be certain about your self-development. This includes your mental, physical, and spiritual health. You can control and prepare your mind and body for life and whatever may come up so that you can handle whatever is coming from a place of strength.


If you feel stress, anxiety, or just a heavyweight on your shoulders, first ask yourself this: RIGHT NOW, am I safe? The chances are that you are and you would have created some certainty in that which will automatically make you feel more peaceful.


The next step is to TAKE ACTION and make yourself stronger RIGHT NOW by working on yourself.

There has always and will always be uncertainty externally but internally you can prepare for battle by creating as much certainty in your surrounding and immediate environment.
