How to thrive during a Trump presidency

I’ve spent the past 7 years becoming an absolute force of nature, and last night when Trump won I felt something chemically shift in my body.?

It’s like I immediately upgraded into a more powerful version of myself ready to fight for my values until the day I die.?

To be clear, I do not credit this upgrade to Trump. In fact, my values and approach to life are the polar opposite of his, and I’m proud of that.?

I credit this upgrade to myself and the work I’ve done for 7 years – softening my heart while also becoming increasingly powerful and fearless.?

I’ve become unbreakable. I’ve become un-f***withable. And I’ve also become the most compassionate version of myself.?

This is what leadership actually looks like.?

It feels weird (and scary) to say it, but when I look around right now I can see that I am the leader in the room. I’m the leader. I’m the most qualified.?

It seems crazy, but I see it clearly.?

Just because someone has power doesn’t mean they are a great leader. Fear is easy. Power is easy. Leadership is hard.?

In a world where others are all too eager to turn you against your neighbor, I’m going to stand here saying the opposite.?

Stand for love. Love your neighbor. And fight for the most vulnerable.?

I’m very clear on what to do next: BUILD BABY, BUILD!?

Way too many of you have been sitting on the sidelines waiting for your circumstance to change before you take action on the dreams you have.?

Meanwhile, the power-hungry are all too willing to step up to the plate.

If you want to see love win, build something and prove it.?

It’s time to build! It’s time to go! Not tomorrow… TODAY.?

Now is an incredible moment to take your emotions – whatever they may be – and convert them into jet fuel.?

This is a skill. It’s something you’ll need to practice and get good at.??

It will feel unfamiliar. Your brain will tell you to retreat or play it safe.?

But it’s time to do the opposite.?

When you do, you will get INCREDIBLE results. You will feel powerful even when your rights are being stripped.?

You’ill feel grounded even when you’re being demonized.?

And you’ll feel fearless even when others are terrorizing you on purpose.?
