I attended a workshop last weekend. It was all about how to create a holiday sales strategy.? Thank you, Nicole Adams. Your workshop was fabulous. She reminded participants that we are retailers. Like Walmart, Target, and Dillards. Retailers have planned or are planning their holiday strategy now. We should follow their lead. So we can have a prosperous holiday season. Here are three questions you want to ask yourself...
1)How much do you want to earn this holiday season?
I know some of you are probably thinking,..Inga, it’s August. I’m getting my kids ready to start school. I know it seems early. "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail."
Here are three reasons why you want to plan now...
1) Early planning? allows you to get supplies early. Packaging. Ribbon for festive bows. Gift fillers. These items are hard to find if you wait.
2) More time to create gift ideas. Design enticing gift sets.? Must-haves for people with a diverse gift list. You have something for everyone! Coworker.?Teacher. Sister.? Mother. Daughter. Or bestie.
3) Create a marketing blueprint. 7 modes of communication that remind your clients about your gift sets without nagging them. Early planning allows you to sprinkle. Call. Text. Social Media Post with Tag. Email. Direct Message on Social Media. Call. Text.
2)When is your 2022 holiday season???
October and November are not the time to be devising a plan. There are only 8 weeks in the holiday buying season. It starts the first weekend in November. This year it starts November 5th. Ends on December 24th. When you plan early you are able to serve everyone. Early shoppers. In season buyers. Last minute folks. Get your calendar in order so you have all of your family activities planned on the calendar. Plan your holiday sale events around what is important to you. This is another entrepreneur perks 9 to 5er’s wished they had.??
August - Gather supplies.?Create gift sets. Develop holiday marketing? graphics, videos, and copy.
September - Reach to business owners you do business with to share your executive gift service.
October - Start 7 modes of reminders. Early buyer sales.

November & December - In season and last minute buyer sales.
3)What are 3 holiday sales ideas to achieve your sales goal??
Another business owner perk. We decide how much we want to make. Reverse engineering your goal into a weekly goal.
Example - You want to make $20,000.
Your goal would be to sell $2,500 per week. 20,000/8 =$2500
Now you just decide how to create that $2500.
