Today's world wants the story behind the story. Whether you have a company mission to share, an audience to entertain or a product to sell, your listeners or readers are far more likely to engage and connect if you deliver a well-crafted story with an emotional core.
During this one-day immersive workshop, story consultant Bobette Buster will reveal how stories actually work by deconstructing master filmmakers and storytellers via film clips, storytelling and interactive discussion with the group, before sharing the fundamental tools and principles that can be applied to your own works.
Participants will have the opportunity to tell a story, with guidance and feedback from Bobette. They will also be given hand-outs and direction for successful next steps. What will you learn?

Bobette’s legendary workshops have taken place at USC School of Cinematic Arts for over 20 years, at the major studios (Pixar, Disney, Sony), top film programs worldwide, as well as to corporations, business conferences and non-profit organisations all over the world – including the Hay Literary Festival, the Sydney Writers Festival, and the Future of Storytelling Conference. Trial attorneys, psychiatrists, journalists, graphic designers, creative directors, as well as animators, screenwriters and filmmakers have all come away inspired from her course.
