How tech enables customer first mindset
You may know Walgreens as your neighborhood pharmacy, but did you know that we have a powerful tech team that's transforming and impacting the lives of millions of patients every day? In 2019, we shifted our focus in tech to identify those moments that matter in a customer journey and how our technological capabilities could best meet the needs of that patient/customer. Global CIO, Francesco Tinto, recently sat down with CIODive.com to discuss his strategy around the customer experience and how his team uses data and analytics to personalize customer experiences, all while continuing to modernize technology to align with the way our customers interact with our products and services.

Our global purpose is to inspire more joyful lives through better health and with that - we're at a unique position to introduce healthcare offerings that are accessible and affordable to our patients and customers. None of our initiatives are possible without technology support, such as through the launch of Walgreens Health locations (in partnership with VillageMD), which will be available in more than 30 markets by 2025 (seeing growth expand to 1,000 markets in 2027) - mostly present in medically underserved communities.

2 年My hubby is a pharmacist at one of your Walgreens and You guys need to do better by them. Walgreens has gone down hill and has not adhered to their mission and vision statement. All Walgreens cares about is cutting labor at the expense of its customers. Walgreens does not know the definition of customer service.
