How Teachers can beat procrastination every day?

Our team at upEducators has trained 15000+ educators in learning digital skills??

After talking to hundreds of teachers and private tutors, we have found the key to beating procrastination as a teaching professional.

Here’s how you can beat procrastination too with these simple habits.

  • Make a daily to-do list : Divide your tasks into daily chunks of chores through a to-do list according to their deadlines. This helps in not getting overwhelmed by tasks and deadlines which in turn reduces procrastination.
  • Avoid Multitasking : Multi-tasking can exhaust you and lead to a delay in completing tasks as a teacher. Give a 100% to one task and then move on to the next.
  • Take a break : Procrastination is sometimes a result of being overworked. We underestimate the power of a 10-minute break from work. Take a 10-minute break every one to two hours and see the increase in your productivity.
  • Use planning and organising tools : Writing a deadline on a physical sticky note and then losing it in the piles of papers can slow you down. Use digital calendars, sticky notes and other organising tools that come equipped with reminders and alarms.
  • Delete the distractions : Find what distracts you the most and eliminate it from your working hours. Log out of personal social media or turn on Do Not Disturb mode to avoid unnecessary distractions while working.

Procrastination can impact productivity. Beat productivity with these simple tips and tricks and save your time!
