I enjoyed this article and would like to reiterate the importance of two of the points raised within the article. Firstly, the long-term strategy and succession planning is an important part of being a successful Talent Acquisition Specialist. Being able to map the market and the available talent (not available in the sense of actively looking for a job, but available talent in the sense of appropriate talent for the business) and knowing what future hiring plans look like so you can build talent pipelines for these needs can dramatically improve hiring times, candidate experiences & recruitment processes. The second part I would like to highlight is referral programs. Designing and implementing a successful referral program will increase the quality of hire a company can and will make significantly. It may seem like a simple concept, but the people who know the market you are hiring talent from the best are those you already hired from that market. They have a simultaneous relationship with the business and professionals who don't yet work for the business, so they are best placed to attract this talent. Great article, really insightful! ??
