How to tackle big challenges and achieve your goals

Have you ever found yourself feeling a bit daunted by a big goal you're trying to achieve? Don't worry; you're not alone!?

One helpful strategy is to break down that big goal into smaller, more manageable chunks.?

Instead of getting overwhelmed by the end goal, ask yourself, "What's the next smallest thing I can do?" and take that first step.?

For example, let's say you're trying to improve your fitness and want to start running. Instead of thinking about running a marathon, which can be pretty daunting, begin by setting small goals. Like putting on your running shoes. Once you're kitted up, then why not go for that 5-minute daily run? As you begin to feel more comfortable, you can increase your running time by a couple of minutes each week. Before you know it, you'll be running for longer periods and will be well on your way to achieving your fitness goals.

Or you're facing a massive project at work and need help figuring out where to start. Break it down and start with a small but important task to get yourself going. Starting with the small things will lead you naturally to the next task, and before you know it, you will be well on the way to completing the project.

And remember. How do you climb Mount Everest? The answer is one step at a time. Focus on putting one foot in front of the other, not on how far you still have to go.
