How To Survive in Business During a Crisis —Part 2

While people are at home, they’re going to the internet and looking for help with their business, side hustle, and more. There’s one thing business owners and entrepreneurs need right now. Brian Harrington —my son and protege— and I discuss this in how to survive in business during a crisis —part 2.

Regardless of what business you’re in, one of the first things you need to do is get a mentor(s) in your life… such as financial mentors, legal mentors, etc. You need to make sure that you’re protected legally or if you need some LLCs to help protect some of your assets.

You’ll also need to look to your mentor and network for potential collaborations and more.

Why Having a Mentor helps You Grow

The bottom line is that before, during, and after a crisis, you must reach out to your mentors. Ask yourself…… Who are they? Do I have one?

If you don’t have a mentor, you need one. In fact, that’s why we are here (myself and my dream team). We perform these functions for you. We’re talking here on our virtual summit today for the single purpose to help you.

We may have one recommendation for one person where that may not apply for somebody else.

Even during a crisis, there are deals you can be putting together and it happens through collaboration.

I have been collaborating for the last couple of weeks with significant players all over the industry and people have been reaching out to me.

I’ve also been reaching out to folks for collaborations.

For example, I’ve been on Podcasts such as Roland Frasier and Traffic and Conversions. We reach out to the Board of Advisors team for helpful videos to encourage and provide value to our members during this time.

We’ve also collaborated with Greg Reid at Secret Knock and with the Zig Ziglar group.

Whenever you want to take your income up to a higher level, look for a higher level partnership. A radical idea becomes fairly plausible when you have the right partners.

The most rewarding part of building a business with the spirit of partnership in everything you do is the unexpected rewards that show up.

You know you’ve built solid partnerships when you’re constantly surprised by how things turn out better than you expected.

Great partnerships have allowed me to make progress in ways I would have never imagined.

As a result of partnerships, I’ve seen my businesses go global, I’ve received investment at the valuation I wanted, I have earned a high income, and I’ve been given shares in growth companies,

None of these things would have happened if I hadn’t built strong relationships that turned into strong partnerships.

It’s important to not get stuck because of troubling times when there are people out there willing to help you succeed and to keep growing.

1. Find your why 2. Clearly establish a need for what you are providing and how it makes it convenient for the consumer while bringing value they can’t get for the same price elsewhere . 3. Have a website that makes an easy path for the consumer. 4. Have a clear picture of who your prospect is, what their daily routines are, and make sure you appear there. 5. Follow the advice in the post above. Until you know who you are, no one else can help your properly.
