How to supercharge your GROWTH
In today’s hyper-competitive business arena, too many companies find themselves stuck in neutral, spending more money on marketing and sales without the results to show for it. Perhaps that’s why many surveys found that 73% of CEOs agreed that “marketers lack business credibility and the ability to generate sufficient growth.†If you have that worrying feeling in your gut that you should be growing faster, a growth hacker will give you the game plan to break out of the stagnation. You’ll be instantly equipped with the team structure, process and tools needed to supercharge your growth in no time flat.
The common characteristic of a growth hacker is having the ability to take responsibility for growth and an entrepreneurial drive. The right growth hacker will have a burning desire to connect the target market with the 'must have' solution. They must have the creativity to figure out unique ways of driving growth.
An effective growth hacker is disciplined to follow a growth hacking process of prioritizing ideas (their own and others in the company), testing the ideas, and being analytical enough to know which tested growth drivers to keep and which ones to cut. The faster this process can be repeated, the more likely they’ll find scalable, repeatable ways to grow the business.
The ideal person to look for must have:
- Very high IQ with a strong sense of purpose
- Relentless focus on success; aggressive and competitive
- High-quality bar, bordering on perfectionism
- Likes changing and disrupting things, bringing new ideas on how to do things better
- High integrity, surrounded with good people
- Cares about building real value over perception
A growth hacker is not a replacement for a marketer. A growth hacker is not better than marketer. A growth hacker is just different than a marketer, “A growth hacker is a person whose true north is growth."
Every decision that a growth hacker makes is informed by growth. Every strategy, every tactic, and every initiative, is attempted in the hopes of growing. Growth is the sun that a growth hacker revolves around. Of course, traditional marketers care about growth too, but not to the same extent. Remember, the power of a growth hacker is in their obsessive focus on a singular goal. By ignoring almost everything, they can achieve the one task that matters most early on.
