We've all heard the advice: "Promote yourself constantly!" You know the one – business gurus preach it like gospel, but let's be honest, it can feel a little eyeroll-worthy, right? Like, who wants to be that annoying salesperson?

I totally get it. But here's the thing: lately, I've been giving this whole self-promotion thing a real shot, and guess what? It's actually working (woohoo!).

Why the conversion? Let's be real! Most peeps have no idea what you do. Even after a few emails, it's like you're speaking a foreign language. If someone stumbles across your content, they need a clear picture of what you offer and why they should trust you.

So, what's my strategy? Every newsletter, every LinkedIn post – it gets a sprinkle of my marketing agency's magic and a mention of our free marketing audit.

Now, hold on a sec. Don't picture me spamming you with sales pitches. It's more about consistent awareness-building and offering value. Think of it like strategically dropping hints about your awesomeness throughout your content, or reaching out to other cool cats in your niche.

Selling is important, but let's do it with a little personality, yeah? Sure, it might feel a little awkward at first, but trust me, it's a small price to pay for the chance to rock your business. After all, consistent (and not annoying!) promotion helped me hit a sweet milestone: 7 months of running my own thriving business after being a VA Employee and Freelancer for over a decade!
