How to structure a PowerPoint Library - Best Practices from Management Consulting
Together with Jeremy Williams from Kaiser Associates we've compiled a couple of best practices on "How to structure your SlideProof Library for PowerPoint":
- Start with sub-folders for Masters, Shapes and (Agendas)
- Use speaking file and folder names (eg. Flags.pptx or Company Presentation.pptx)
- Keep presentation published as Slides on the root level of your library
- Smaller files are better (faster loading times and better overview since Flags.pptx is better than Timesavers.pptx)
- Library structures should evolve, don’t try to set the perfect structure from the start
- Keep what’s working and what people know, don't re-invent the wheel
