How To Stop Your Players Disrupting Training Sessions
As a coach, I firmly believe that addressing disruptive behaviour with empathy and firmness is crucial. When players choose to mess around during coaching sessions, I see it as an opportunity to educate them about respect, teamwork, and the value of focused learning.
I strive to get players to discuss behaviour, understanding that youngsters might have different reasons for not respecting me or their team mates. By setting clear expectations, involving them in establishing team rules, and explaining how their behaviour affects everyone, I hope to give them?a sense of responsibility.
My approach combines constructive conversations, positive reinforcement, and fair consequences, ultimately creating a disciplined, cohesive, and respectful team environment.
