1 年Read the conversation between me and my friend. We can't hire you. You are not culturally fit for the organisation.? My friend was told by a potential employer. He was heartbroken.? Here's what he told us: Friend - I was qualified for the post and had years of experience but they didn't hire me. Why? Me - You didn't get the job despite having the required skillset to perform in your role because you didn't fit in their team, department, or the wider company culture.? Friend - How does that make a difference? Me - Ofcourse it does. What if the company requires an employee who has a collaborative approach and works well within a team? On the other hand you are someone who likes to work alone most of the time. So you will automatically be rejected by them.? Friend - So, it doesn't have anything to do with me, right? Me - Not at all. It's just that how you work is not in alignment with how they want their employees to work. It's very simple.? Friend - What do I do next? Me - Keep applying for other jobs :)
