How to stop working for peanuts, and....

...consider another way to run your business.....

One of my favourite definitions of a business is

”a commercial, profitable enterprise that works without you”

Lets deconstruct this into 5 areas, and list some key questions that you can ask yourself…….

1. Commercial - Do you make decisions based on the best return on investment? Do you know all your key numbers that drive your business forward?
2. Profitable - Does your profit grow year on year in terms of monetary value and margin?
3. Enterprise - Is it still just you doing it all? Or are you ready to delegate? Do you know how to delegate and still provide the customer service that your clients expect from YOU?
4. That works - Are you constantly going from a drama to a crisis and being the main firefighter? Or do you have clear processes in place? Does everyone in your business understand and follow them? 
5. Without you - Can you take 6 months off and still have a healthy business to come back to? Can your answers to some of these questions help you to do this?

Now let's put them back together…. Do you or would you like to have a commercial profitable enterprise that works without you?
