Science has proven that 98% of diets don’t work!

The diet industry is worth billions of dollars, yet diets are flawed and cannot be sustained long-term. If you have failed on any diet, join the club. It is not your fault: 98 percent of all diets fail, which means that only 2 percent, a staggeringly low number of people, can maintain the weight loss by going on a diet.

If diets worked, new ones would not constantly crop up to replace the old ones that promised everything and did not deliver or were just too restrictive, rigid and difficult to stick with.

You need to know what sort of eater you are before you can address the problem, which is something that no amount of diets, pills or surgery can do.

Eating is often an act of regression. We eat to try and get back that happy warm feeling we had as a child when we were given cookies or sweets.

First, you make your beliefs and then your beliefs make you.

It is an unfortunate truth that to be overweight you not only have to have a lifestyle that supports it, but also a belief system and convictions about your weight which are keeping you the wrong shape and size. These need to be broken if you are to maintain your ideal weight.

We are all programmed to act and react in certain ways, human behaviour is not random, it’s quite predictable.

In order to know how to stop eating so much, you simply need to reprogramme your attitude to food so that it is the one you were born with, not the one you have acquired through bad habits. You were born able to leave food, able to say no to it, able to stop as soon as you were full; regaining that ability is exciting and liberating.

What do you believe?

? “I have tried but I just can’t lose weight”

Very rarely are these beliefs true, but if you continue to talk about yourself like this then you are continuing to be a part of the problem, instead of being part of the solution.

Even if they were true you can change a belief which in turn can change your body, because our beliefs affect the physiological processes in our bodies. Every thought we think creates a physical reaction. Thoughts can affect blood flow, blood pressure, heart rate and your thoughts can also affect weight. Channelled properly, motivational thought processes can be more powerful than pharmaceutical drugs.

The good news is that when you question a belief you start to doubt it and no longer hold it to be true.  I can show you how to change the images, words and beliefs you run in your head on a daily basis and how this, in turn, is going to change your body and your entire relationship with food.

We are what we eat, think and believe.

Changing the way you think about food is the key, it changes the way you eat on an unconscious level. Reprogramme and replace negative patterns of behaviour, which have become a deep-seated instinctive force. When you do this, you can have a normal healthy relationship with food forever.

When you rename or rebrand a particular food negatively in your mind, it will lose its desirability and appeal for you. Make the pictures and descriptive words you associate with it unpleasant. Then you will have successfully used your mind to help you feel indifferent or even disgusted by the foods you want to stop eating.
