"Here, take my garbage."
This is how a lot of online entrepreneurs are doing their marketing today.
Throwing a lot of garbage in their prospects' faces hoping that one would stick.
But what if you can do your marketing in a way that it's fresh, relevant, and of genuine value to your followers?
...And what if you can do this in a PURELY automated way?
Who wouldn't want that right?
Though, I'm of the opinion that personal connection is still a huge plus for business owners...
...but sometimes, this is not possible due to the huge demands of work.
You can't be in hundred places all at once.
And automating MOST of your marketing efforts could be the key.
But some words of advice when it comes to your online marketing.
You have to do it in a way that it "Anticipated," "Personal," and "Relevant."
If that sounds familiar, then perhaps you hear or read it somewhere...
Here's the exact statement from Seth Godin,
"Anticipated, personal, and relevant advertising always does better than unsolicited junk."
Quality #1: ANTICIPATED
Inform your followers that you'll be sending them some messages in the future.
Guarantee them that it will be helpful and useful to whatever problems they've been struggling with.
Give them also the option to stop receiving any messages from you -- if they want to.
Trust me, they would appreciate you being direct to the point and giving them the choice.
Quality #2: PERSONAL
People don't want to be 'talk at.'
Instead, they want to be 'talk to.'
Talk to them as if you are sitting across each other.
If possible, share your life with them.
Laugh, cry, be angry, be crazy.
...Be their friend.
Give them the opportunity to talk back to you.
And when they do, listen carefully.
Value their time and effort responding back.
I experience this firsthand through my automated emails...
People reply and share their stories as well.
It's heartwarming, to say the least, knowing that I was able to impact them on an emotional level.
This is how every marketing should be -- building relationship.
Quality #3: RELEVANT
Don't just share stories for the sake of sharing stories.
Instead, make sure that you are sharing something that is relevant to their needs.
Share an adventure and extract the lessons that they can use.
Share a struggle that you have and make them relate to you on a personal level.
Understand their pain, and offer medicines that could help them.
Always ask the question...
"Is this relevant to what my followers are going through right now?"
Anticipated. Personal. Relevant.
...that's how you will have an automated marketing with heart and soul.
