My story begins at the moment I started to study psychology to follow the new trend at that time to become an organizational psychologist.

On a deeper level it also had to do with a mental health issue in my family due to a traumatic financial turmoil of our family business. But I ignored that.

Nothing much happened until my therapist at that time introduced me to a family constellation with the founder.

In this session I learnt that…

Healing the system is powerful.

See, although I had some talk therapy before, this intervention shifted something on a deep level, alleviated (not only me but also all family members) and liberated me.

Same goes for you.

Any issue is part of a bigger social system and what position we have in it, let it be a family or organization or individual problem - to set yourself free, you need to disconnect from any entanglement and own your place to move forward on your terms.

This is why I’m glad you’re reading this, because you will experience the same.

So, I moved to Kenya as a technical adviser. And while all Kenyan colleagues were busy attending university classes after work, I decided to train as a life coach.

I studied accredited courses in Neuro Linguistic Programming, E.M..DR, Theta Healing and Hypnotherapy while intensively working on myself (basically on my limiting beliefs, feelings and values).

And I was shocked what kind of beliefs I had about myself. 

Why? Because I’d never thought that events in my family and at school had influenced my choices (partner, career etc.) and my feelings (being in defense and need to be truly seen.)

Clearing off these limiting beliefs builds up your inner strength and emotional resilience.

This helped me in times of adversity (break up, unemployment...) and life transitions to stay resilient alone in another country.

In my work as a counselor in Dubai I helped others to elevate their career and personal life and to have better interpersonal relationships. I was happy with the success of my interventions.

“Nothing more to work on!”, I thought. All past traumas healed. No residues that interfere.

So I started my own coaching practice…

I went emotionally in and out of rabbit holes.

Thoughts and worries invaded me and telling me:

“No clients - no money.”

“You’re getting old and have no security.” 

And worse: “Why others are successful and not I?”

I lost my passion and felt bored with all the other tasks I had to fulfill.

I felt tense and with no energy.

I was stuck.

See... the problem was I had figured out only half of the quotation: The therapy part.

Although, I did mindfulness and guided meditations, kept a healthy lifestyle and a social life, I had underestimated the chatterbox of the mind.

Something was missing.

That’s when an email newsletter guided me to a coach, who had developed models of the mind during his 30 years counselling career.

Mind models do not look at your beliefs, but on your behavior. They involve your rational thinking and problem solving skills to bring you back into a resourceful state. - exactly what I needed.

I learnt more about these models and applied them to myself.

And BAM.

I had clarity within minutes. I focused more on the facts of my coaching practice than the emotions.

That’s when it became crystal clear to me, the secret of the most valuable service for my clients is to offer an intersection of the past and the future.

It is not enough to heal the past, but you also need to equip people with guidelines how to think smart and change their habit of thinking.

I renamed my service to The #BrainBoss Method with my signature coaching style “Emotional Resilience Therapy”.

Today, I’m using my brain more efficiently and strengthen my boss brain every day. It is a daily practice.
