HOW TO STOP BEING AVERAGE AND OVERCOME FEELINGS OF UNWORTHINESS
FINALLY, GET WHAT YOU REALLY WANT AND ACHIEVE FULFILLMENT
Many people are stuck in being average. They only do what is required to maintain the status quo. It doesn't matter if it's a project, a relationship, or their work life. They set small goals for themselves that can be achieved without any major effort. They are stuck in the mindset of mediocrity and don't pursue bigger goals and a greater purpose. They settle for average and believe that only the “lucky” people succeed in life.
Why do so many people feel this way? Because they've given up on aiming for anything higher as a result of not feeling worthy of success and/or being good enough.
When you read the words above, did they bring up any uncomfortable emotions? More than likely, you have something deep down and you’re bursting at the seams to express it.
You might be wondering how can I live a life of meaning and fulfillment? What can I do to stand out from the crowd and achieve great things?
FIVE ACTIONS TO DEVELOP THE SELF-WORTH OF AN UNCOMMON LEADER
Many of us have experienced, career changes, relationship dynamic shifts, the loss of loved ones, relocation to a different area of the country, financial challenges, and of course living through traumatic events like that of a pandemic. All of these events can take a toll on our self-worth and the image that we have of ourselves.
Regardless of your current circumstances, you can choose your own way in life. Clearly understand that you can start from where you are now and make dramatic shifts in the direction you’re headed in. You have everything it takes to become an Uncommon Leader.
Like the “lucky” ones, you can also create emotional superpowers that will enable you to thrive in any situation. Imagine how great it’ll be when you have the confidence in knowing what to do next at light speed in challenging times.
Did you know that self-worth is comprised of identity, goodness, and living in truth? Knowing who you are, will enable you to follow your internal - well -calibrated compass, your north star, that’ll guide you to where you REALLY want to go.
Here is what to do next…
1. It all starts with a dream. Write in vivid detail the fantasy person that you want to become.
2. Create an Identity blueprint. Answer the questions- “Who am I?” and “What am I?”
3. Adopt the Uncommon Leader’s Inner Dialogue. Be mindful of the way that you speak to yourself. If your self-talk is negative, turn it into the positive Uncommon Leader’s inner dialogue.
4. Calibrate your compass points. Re-evaluate what’s most important to you and choose corresponding values.
5. Live in truth. Once you’ve completed steps one through four, remain true to the fantasy new you, even if it is difficult to do.
The result of acting on the five actions of Uncommon Leaders is that you’ll know what to do next to advance your career. You’ll soon have clarity for improving all of your relationships. You’re going to make better choices in your financial decisions. You’ll even be able to use your emotional superpowers to get through any tough situation. You will finally take back control of your life.

The blueprint resonated with me because I've always been working on it. the more I tune it the better it gets, the better it gets, the more success I have, and the more success I have, life just kids easier. 4 年Carrying anchors of the past is a tough road to travel. Agree with your premise that I have control (and the responsibility) to change if I'm not on track to achieve the results or dream I want. Having gone through a 180 degree change 30 years ago, I know it's possible for anyone. Thanks for this encouraging message of hope.
