How to stop the aging process.

Everyone loves the idea of a fountain of youth, but it has proved to be illusive to say the least. Meanwhile, you can stop the aging process (at least with military equipment) with controlled humidity environments - though we admit, “the desiccant-wheel dehumidifier of youth” doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue.

1. ?When you leave equipment exposed to the elements, it’s still subject to “fatigue” from the elements. That fatigue ages whatever you’re storing.
2. In a humidity-controlled Corrosion-Free Environment, equipment is not subject to fatigue from the wear and tear of being exposed to the environment.
3. Maintaining Relative Humidity (RH) at +/- 40% protects all the components of critical assets (metals, electronics, gaskets, seals, tires, coatings, etc.).
4. If a 10 year old piece of equipment is stored in a Corrosion-Free Environment for a year, it’s considered to still be 10 years old when it comes out.

Corrosion-Free Environments not only extend the useful life of assets, they improve readiness and greatly reduce maintenance costs and man-hours.
