The latest AI-powered features from LinkedIn — and practical ways you can use them

If you’re looking for practical ways to use LinkedIn’s AI-powered features, career and life advice educator Erin McGoff is here to help. In a recent video post, she highlighted some of her favorite features and how job seekers can use them:

1. AI-profile-writing assistant: “It can help you rewrite your [LinkedIn profile] headline and bio in seconds,” Erin says, “to make it look more professional and help you save time.”
2. AI-assisted messages: If you find a recruiter on LinkedIn who’s hiring for a job you’re interested in but have no idea what to say when you reach out to them, Erin’s a fan of AI-assisted messages to help get the ball rolling. Send them a message on LinkedIn, she says, and “click on ‘write with AI’ and get a foundation to get you started on something you can customize.”
3. AI-powered coaching: “If you ever have a question like ‘What other jobs can I apply for?’ or ‘How can I network more effectively?’” Erin says, “LinkedIn now has a feature where you can use AI to find answers.”
