How to stay on track?

Are your objectives clear?

Are you prepared to begin working on them?

Have you devised a strategy to help you achieve your objectives?

What will ensure that you follow your intended path?

It is quite easy to get off the track. It's easy to become lost in the details of daily life. Do you understand what I'm getting at? I'm busy all the day yet if I see at the end of the day, I am unable to figure out what I accomplished. If this is happening with you, be aware that you've deviated from your goals.

How do you stay on track once you've set goals and mapped out a route to your destination?

It is easier to set the actions to reach your goals when you have clear goals in mind. It appears simple. The truth is that you will only be able to achieve your goal after you "stop doing things." Take a deeper look at your current situation. Map your daily schedule? What does it resemble?

Are you taking the actions necessary to attain your objective today?

What you did today will determine what you get tomorrow. It will come back to haunt you later? Didn't you ever felt/thought - I should have done this instead of that?

How do you remain on track then?

Here are three measures to help you keep on track with your objectives:

1. Hire a mentor or coach. This is an excellent strategy to keep on track to achieve your goals. The coach can be a game changer for you. He will be able to direct you in the proper direction. Don’t worry even if you have more than one goal. You may have goals running parallel for different areas of your life career, family, health and finance etc. Coaches are available for a variety of goals, including weight loss, relationships, and business. ?If you can only afford one, tell someone you trust. Make a coach out of your significant other. This will ensure that you accomplish what you need to do in order to achieve your goal. The majority of successful people have mentors. They have a coach who helps them improve their game. Even the very successful people you see around like players, actors, businessman, trainers have mentors at some or the other points of their life/career. And know doubt these mentors/coaches contribute to significant growth.

2. Be with your tribe Make friends with people who share your goals. There are numerous groups in your neighbourhood and in your social networking sites. If you are unable to locate one in your neighbourhood look online for a variety of options. You can speed up your progress toward your desired objective by surrounding yourself with like-minded people. You must have heard the famous saying of entrepreneur, author and motivation speaker Jim Rohn - “you are the average of five people you spend the most time with”.

This provides you with additional motivation to achieve your goal. It makes you responsible.

3. Practice Mindfulness Most people lose sight of their objectives at some point so, it’s obvious for you too to do the same. But, with little self-awareness you can stay on track. When you don’t get the desired results ask yourself these two questions –

What am I doing right now? ?

Is it moving me closer or further away from my goal?

You will get more clarity and confidence once you begin to act on your top priorities. You'll have extra time on your hands and you will be able to achieve more.
