Hi there
“The biggest disease known to mankind is loneliness”
I came across this quote and I believe this is true, especially in Corona times. I, therefore, encourage you to stay in touch with your friends and family now in whatever way instead of waiting until everything gets back to normal?.
I know, keeping in touch with people is hard at the moment. It is like you switched to a long-distance relationship with everyone at once and that sounds more like work than fun
Here I want to share with you some insights I had regarding maintaining relationships:
CARE??
Corona is mentally tough for everyone, especially for single people. You might want them to know that you care, which means it is you job to check on them regularly and to make sure they know that you are there for them.
KEEP IN TOUCH
You probably would like to keep your friends, right? Corona has accompanied us for a while now. The timeframe is too long to press the pause button on your friendships. That means you need to make an effort to stay in touch with them. If you don`t, you might hurt your friendship or even worse case loose it. Therefore, stay in touch.
HAVE FUN
Staying in contact does not have to be serious business all the time. You can send each other memes, jokes and all kind of fun stuff that might interest them. Your friend knows that you think of him/her and you brighten their day.
GROW TOGETHER
Another key point is that you can grow and learn together by forwarding each other interesting news, articles, book tips, online courses and support each other’s growth.
DEVELOP YOUR STYLE
I have friends I do Whatsapp voice messages with, some I talk to regularly, some I write on different platforms…Your style will most likely develop naturally and most likely will be as individual as each of your friends.
How do you keep in touch?
